Noah Charney is not fond of phonies, but he makes a living off of them. Charney is a world-renowned expert in the field of art crime, and he's giving a talk as part of Fairfield University's Open VISIONS Forum called Traffickers, Thieves and Forgers in the World of Art. He'll offer some new insights into the realm of art theft and its unfortunate connection to other high-level crimes like drugs and the smuggling of firearms. After the talk there will be an informal conversation with moderator Philip Eliasoph and Jill Deupi, director of the Bellarmine Museum of Art.
