Delving Forward and Backward at the UConn Stamford Gallery

You all know what found objects are by now. Constance Kiermaier likes to use such objects, like a plank of wood, a dried onion skin or her late husband's collection of neckties, to make collages and sculptural constructions. Sometimes photos, paintings and prints are integrated into them. Anything goes, pretty much. Her new exhibit Delving Forward and Backward hits UConn Stamford's art gallery starting this Saturday, and you'll find that many of her works reflect the artist's connection to nature she acquired growing up on a farm in Virginia.
