Reporter Jennifer Livingston of WKBT in La Crosse, Wisconsin took some time out of her broadcast yesterday to respond to a viewer who wrote in about her weight. The video, in which Ms. Livingston calls the viewer a “bully” and addresses the issue of obesity, has already gone viral. Take a look.
I was planning on writing a funny, insightful critique of her response, along with an analysis of bullying in this modern day world. Then I found out that Jennifer Livingston is the sister of Ron Livingston, a.k.a. the actor who played Peter in Office Space. Now I have nothing to say. Ms. Livingston's on-air response was thoughtful and heartwarming, but it ain't got shit on Peter's speech to The Bobs.
