New York School Gives Out Racist Homework

A New York public school is in trouble for handing out an assignment known as “Slavery Word Problems Homework,” which, as you can probably guess, included some questions that many parents found troubling. In fairness to the school, this assignment came to light when one teacher refused to hand it out to her students. From Salon.com:
