Colorado, which is quickly becoming the new Florida, saw another strange incident happen this week. A 21-year old college student who got drunk, wandered into a multi-million dollar mansion, and was promptly shot her in the hip by the homeowner, is now being charged with felony trespassing. Because taking a bullet to the ovaries is apparently not enough justice. But wait, there’s more! Turns out the college student was given a date rape drug earlier in the night. Also, the wife of the homeowner was being stalked, hence the homeowner’s “shoot first, ask questions later” approach. And to top it off, the guy’s name is Timothy Justice, which is just awesome. The 21-year-old woman from Boulder, Colo. pleaded guilty on Wednesday to criminal trespassing, admitting to entering a multimillion-dollar residence in May, ABC News reports. After the couple inside demanded that she leave, homeowner Timothy Justice took aim and shot her in the hip.
She fell to the floor and the homeowners called 911.
Ripple maintains that she was likely given a date-rape drug before the incident, which caused her staggeringly high blood alcohol level.
