Adrian Bayford of Haverhill, Suffolk, England, hit the EuroMillions jackpot last Friday, and like all lottery winners, he’s spending the money in the smartest way possible: trying to reunite Guns N’ Roses. Bayford has offered up a good portion of his winnings to the band if they get back together. From NME:
Asked if he'd like to splash out on a big gig, he said: "I think I would just have to get Guns N' Roses together — the original line-up, mind. I am a real fan."
I salute this guy. A lot of lottery winners end up broke anyway. You might as well end up broke and a hero to thousands of GNR fans, rather than broke and chugging a 40 of King Cobra in a deserted alley. Although drinking King Cobra in a deserted alley is a pretty good way to meet Axl Rose.
