What a remarkable story. As you can see in the photo, a dog in Los Angeles attempted suicide last week by jumping off a second-story balcony. Miraculously the animal was caught in the guard rail and rescued by its owner and some Good Samaritans.
You know things are bad in this country when dogs are attempting suicide. Being a dog is probably the greatest life any living creature could ask for. You sleep all day, you get treats, everybody loves you and your toughest challenge of the day involves fetching a stick 30 feet away. If a dog doesn’t want to live any more, how can any of us feel good about our lives? It’s like finding out that George Clooney has quit dating because it was too difficult for him. If that guy can’t do it, you might as well just shut down your PlentyOfFish.com profile and call it a life.
