1 in 5 Americans is Short on Food Money

Sometime in the past year, one in five Americans has been short on money for food. I can totally relate. The other weekend, I was down in Manhattan, and I spent all my cash on rum ‘n cokes at Arctica, then I accidentally dropped my ATM card into a sewer when I drunkenly stumbled over a trash bag, so I had no money to buy a McDonald’s double cheeseburger for the train ride home. Oh wait, they’re talking about actual meals? That sucks, bro.
