The crisis in student loan defaults must be horrific if Yale University is reduced to suing its graduates to get some of its money back.
Here's a Bloomberg story detailing the problems universities and colleges are facing when it comes to widespread failsures to repay student loans. According to the records, there were defaults on $964 million in federal Perkins loans in 2011 - an increase of more than 20 percent in five years.
