New study linking medical pot to lower traffic fatalities adding to momentum for approval in Connecticut

Last week it was a study indicating moderate pot smoking won’t damage your lungs, and this week the Courant has a front page article about a correlation between medical pot legalization and declines in fatal car accidents.

It kind of seems like momentum is continuing to build for Connecticut’s legislature to finally approve a medical marijuana bill this year. Gov. Dannel Malloy has already come out in support, and these new studies are certainly going to be used as clubs to beat back the stubborn opposition of anti-pot lawmakers.
