New Study Finds Stunning Kill Rates for Roaming Kitties

A new Smithsonian Conservation Institue study includes a gobsmaking estimate that feral and roaming house cats in the U.S. kill something like 2.4 million birds and 12.3 billion mammals a year.

Estimates of the number of feral cats in Connecticut alone range from 330,000 to half a million, and the debate over how to control feral or roaming cats is a fierce one.

The cat lovers out there are definitely NOT going to like this new research.
