New Haven Case Reveals Big Loophole in Connecticut Policy to Protect Immigrants from Unwarranted Deportations

Connecticut's supposed to have a policy designed to stop undocumented immigrants from deportation for minor crap like traffic tickets.

But here's an excellent story by the New Haven Independent that reveals a huge loophole in that policy, which is apparently the route federal immigration agents are taking to deport Josemaria Islas.
