Minorities are in majority of under 1-year-olds in U.S., and in Hartford region

The U.S. Census Bureau is reporting that a majority (50.4 percent) of all U.S. kids under one year old are now minorities, as in non-white or Hispanic. The Hartford region hit that mark a while ago, and in this latest report is listed as having 52.2 percent of all under-one-year-olds in the minority catetory.
