The Republican Party's Linda McMahon will also be the Independent Party's Linda McMahon on the November U.S. Senate ballot.
As expected, McMahon joined her Democratic opponent, Chris Murphy, in managing to get her name on the ballot twice. Murphy also has the endorsement of the Connecticut Working Families Party.
This is now standard operating procedure for a lot of Connecticut candidates, who figure it's always better to give voters multiple opportunities to vote for them in the same election.
It's sort of a variation on the old political joke, "Vote Early and Vote Often." For candidates, it's become "Get On the Ballot Early and As Many Times As Possible."
