How sweet it is for Connecticut pols like Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch, who can turn over tens of thousands of dollars in extra campaign cash to a friendly PAC, which will then finance trips for him and his wife to Denver andWashington, D.C. political events.

And Finch didn't even get hit when that political action committee's behind-the-scenes operator, William P. Beccaro, and his dad were hammered with $11,200 in fines by the State Elections Enforcement Committee Wednesday.
