Welcome to our new blog, "The Rest of the League"

Football season is almost upon us, and you know what that means:  Excess coverage of the Patriots and Giants.  Yes, we Connecticut residents may live in between Boston and New York, but many of us have allegiances to teams outside the region.  If you root for the Pats, Giants or Jets, that's great, but you can find coverage of those teams in all the local papers and on countless other websites.  This blog is for the rest of us; the people who don't care about Hakeem Nicks' injury status or Wes Welker's conditioning routine.  Throughout the next several months, we'll provide our non-serious brand of coverage for the other 29 teams in the league, along with some posts on college football.
