The posters over at 4chan are sweating, finally, over the 11-year-old girl they harrassed near to death and now, following coverage of the 11-year-old girl's total meltdown as a result of the trolling, Gawker.com won't be the only ones with "mainstream" coverage of the story. Jesse Slaughter is going on "Good Morning America" tomorrow.
4chan's "/b/" board follow the first two rules of Fight Club: no talking about /b/, etc. So they're all prepping tonight for their big exposure on GMA. Some of them seem to get that this is the 390832490328th time they've been "exposed." Others are more paranoid, and attempting to make plans to fight off all the media attention they claim not to want:
"I have a simple idea for this flood of newfags tomorrow. It may or may not work, but I will throw it out there.
Blank post all day, everything. No pictures, No memes, Nothing. Just blank posts and ppl will get bored and go away."
"If all of us can do this then there is no cancer in /b/"
"If ppl keep posting this until the show comes on tomorrow maybe it will catch on. It may turn out to be pretty funny."
"IMO ppl either just ignore the gore or don't care. So flooding /b/ with gore is pointless. We could always DDoS the site to save it. Or just do very dry posts like pictures of wilderness all day. Its just a matter of getting everyone on board."
Well. Guess we better wait to see what happens on Friday.
