It sure is exhausting when all (or most) of your favorite TV shows start their fall seasons all around the same time. I'm getting tired just thinking about the amount of shows on my plate this season (and it's not even that many!).
One of my very-favorites, "Fringe," made its way back to my living room on Friday with its season four premiere. The season three finale was pretty much the mother of all cliffhangers, basically insinuating that Peter Bishop had ceased to exist now that he'd figured out how to work the Machine. "HOLY CRAP, they can't take Pacey off the show!" is what I'd been thinking to myself all summer. (Pacey is the name of Joshua Jackson's "Dawson's Creek" character [and Joshua Jackson plays Peter Bishop on "Fringe"], for those of you with some catching up to do.)
Anyway, while I was spending all summer freaking out about what was going on in the Fringiverse, I must have completely missed the news that Seth Gabel's character, FBI agent Lincoln Lee, was made part of the main cast starting this season. Why is that a big deal? Because in the normal, "good" universe on the show, Lincoln Lee works out of the Hartford, Conn. FBI office. There were a few cool aerial shots of Hartford during this episode, and I figure there'll be a few more if Lincoln Lee is sticking around, yeah? Here's to hoping.
But I'm also excited for more Agent Lee in this season because he is very cute! Lincoln Lee in the other universe is OK, I guess, but his association with Fauxlivia and the notion that he sort of fancied her makes me not really like him. Down with Fauxlivia! She is such a B! Anyway, Hartford's Lincoln Lee wears glasses! And if "Fringe" were real life, I'd probably take a drive up to Hartford to see if I could stalk him/get his number. He is totally my type.
"Fringe" airs Friday nights at 9 p.m. on FOX. Won't you join me in watching for more CT-related bits?
