I was at this coffee shop in Branford the other day and I went up to the counter and ordered a cappuccino and the girl behind the counter sort of looked at me - at this point I'm very visibly pregnant - and, all nervously, was like, "Ok...decaf?" And I was like, "That's hilarious. Regular."

Coffee drinking is just one minor part of the major difference between this second pregnancy and my first. I know I'm not alone. I've heard countless women describe the fact that they were simply more relaxed the second time around. About what they ate and how much they thought about their condition. Sometimes, some of them forgot how far along they were on a daily basis. Yeah. Some of them happen to do that. No big deal.

So I thought it might be fun to put the question to this public forum. Were your first and subsequent pregnancies different? And how?
